Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha around 7:30 AM and driven to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. Tucked slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire is a peaceful gem in northern Tanzania, known for its large elephant population, excellent birdwatching, and a truly authentic safari feel. Many visitors to the region either skip Tarangire or only explore it briefly, leaving much of the park untouched and serene. In the late afternoon, you’ll leave the park and head to Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay at Heart and Soul Lodge.

Day 2: Heart and Soul to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you’ll depart from Heart and Soul Lodge and head toward Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. Enjoy a game drive along the way as you make your journey into one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. Serengeti National Park is world-renowned for its vast plains, remarkable predator populations, and the awe-inspiring Great Migration of nearly two million wildebeests and zebras. Its expansive grasslands provide some of the most fertile grazing in the region, attracting massive herds and supporting an extraordinary density of wildlife. You’ll arrive at Osinon Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, with the option of a packed lunch in the bush or a hot lunch back at the camp—your guide will help you decide what’s best for the day. The Serengeti offers exceptional wildlife viewing, with abundant animal sightings throughout the year. If you're visiting during the migration season, you’re likely to witness large herds of wildebeests around the Seronera area.
After an adventurous day on safari, you’ll return to the camp in the evening to relax and unwind.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a half-day game drive through Serengeti National Park, making your way toward Naabi Gate. Following a picnic lunch, you’ll continue your journey to the Ngorongoro region. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, nestled in the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the caldera for a day of game viewing with picnic lunch boxes. The crater offers stunning scenery and is among the best places in East Africa to spot the Big Five. It’s a remarkable introduction to your African safari experience. In addition to its rich wildlife, the area provides a unique opportunity to encounter members of the Maasai community. Later in the afternoon, you’ll ascend from the crater and return to Arusha.
